A Proven Leader

As a Linn County Supervisor, Lu has worked tirelessly to help our communities recover from the 2008 flood and the accompanying economic challenges. She serves on the:

• Linn County Disaster Recovery Team
• Recovery and Reinvestment Coordinating Team
• Neighborhood Planning and Process Steering Committee
• Community Legislative Committee

Accomplishments:

• Millions of dollars in flood recovery and economic development funding to Linn County
• Instrumental in the Recovery and Reinvestment Coordinating Team’s efforts to help disaster victims secure FEMA, Jumpstart and SBA assistance.
• Securing funding for the reconstruction of flood-affected Linn County buildings
• Creation of local construction jobs and the purchase of local goods and services
• Adoption plans for the improvement of Linn County’s parks, roads and trail systems
